Your first session is an intake appointment, a chance for your therapist to learn about you, your goals, and your history. You won't be pushed to share anything you're not ready for. By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of what therapy might look like and whether we're the right fit. Most clients leave feeling a sense of relief having taken that first step.
