Adolescence is one of the most formative — and challenging — periods of life. Our registered psychologists specialize in working with children and teens (ages 10–17) to build emotional resilience, manage mental health concerns, and develop confidence that lasts.
What we help teens with
Anxiety, worry, and panic attacks
Low mood, depression, or emotional withdrawal
ADHD — focus, organization, and school performance
Social difficulties and peer relationships
Identity, self-esteem, and body image
Family conflict and life transitions
School stress, academic pressure, and perfectionism
Grief, trauma, or major life changes
Our approach
CBT for Adolescents
Adapted cognitive-behavioural tools that resonate with how teens think.
Strengths-Based Therapy
Builds on what your teen does well rather than focusing only on problems.
ADHD Support
Practical skills for focus, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy at school.
Family Involvement
Parents can be included at a level that your teen is comfortable with.
A note for parents
We know it can be hard to watch your child struggle. Our approach keeps parents informed and involved at a level your teen is comfortable with. We will always discuss the level of parental involvement with your teen before beginning treatment, and we can also offer parent coaching sessions to help you support them at home.
Sheryl Singh, our Registered Psychologist specializing in children, teens, and ADHD, leads most youth sessions. Sessions are available in-person in South Calgary and virtually across Alberta.
